Simon Cowell’s America’s got talent will now screen in the UK on Sony Pictures TV channel TruTV.

When this exciting announcement was made, The Film & TV Company called us in to film all the scenes in London’s largest green screen studio at Malcolm Ryan Studios.

Each scene required two angles and we used both our Super 35mm cameras to capture the action in 4K.

With 30 acts to film over two days and a 72 hour window for the first TV commercial to go to air time was tight. But this is a normal day at work for us – we make things happen, on time, on budget and with a smile. 

Tight rope walkers, dancers, actors, fire breathers, gymnasts, contorsionists were among some to the great acts we were able to film. 

Proxy footage and edits were done on site before heading to post production at Sony Pictures for finishing. 

This high impact promo launched the show in the UK with great success. Its a great example of how using an experienced crew can really pay off.
